CSR - Can "Corporate" really enhance your cause?
Few large company strategies are complete these days without a statement on corporate social responsibility (CSR), and a complete CSR industry has grown around that fact. It’s easy to be cynical about this – it can be a low cost route to enhancing corporate reputation. After all, there are now prizes to be won for outstanding CSR policies.
Remove that cynicism for one moment, and the reality is that large businesses can bring actual business practices, charitable donations, staff volunteering projects and a wide range of resources that can be leveraged (think property, big data, introductory networks).
This evening seminar will focus on how a Charity can develop effective corporate relationships under the CSR banner – and we will do it by case studying successful stories in this area. We are delighted that we will be joined by Seyi Obakin, Chief Executive of Centrepoint. Centrepoint have done significant work with “corporates” in the Financial Services space, and this is a chance to learn from Seyi about how that has been put together.
Other Panel Members:
Seyi will also be joined by Charles Egerton-Warburton Credit Suisse’s UK Chief Operating Officer.
Seyi will also be joined by Elin Haf Davies, Elin is the charity and corporate social responsibility consultant for both Workspace and Club Workspace.
