SME’s Winning Government Contracts: G4 Framework Announced
The UK Government’s G-Cloud initiative, which is aimed at easing procurement by public sector bodies has announced its fourth supplier framework (G4). In a press release the framework announced that even more small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have been given the opportunity to win government business.
Among those included as suppliers are Infrastructure as a service firm Memset. The Cloud Innovation Network will be case studying Memset’s founder and Managing Director Kate Craig-Wood on November 20th. We’ll make note to ask about any critical lessons from Memset’s G4 experiences
The Cloud Innovation Network is also pleased to announce that Jonathan Sowler, Chief Technology Officer of Valldata will be joining our Risk and Opportunity in the Cloud panel at the Exchange 2013 focused on members of our Charity Leaders Exchange network.
Jonathan has extensive experience advising the public sector on Government IT procurement strategies and is co-author of “Better for Less”: How to make Government IT deliver savings.
