Knowledge Peers has completed the second in a series of four research reports aimed at shedding light on SME-focused Investment Crowdfunding. This second phase of research highlights key findings into the way SMEs engage with different forms of funding. It allows for a better understanding of SME attitudes and perceptions towards a range of non-bank, “alternative” funding forms, including crowd funding, peer to peer lending and platform based invoice discounting. The research is based on in depth surveys with over 100 established SMEs.
By focusing on industry players, this report is best suited for those who wish to garner a better understanding of how this nascent industry facilitates SME funding and provides readers with a benchmark analysis on how this industry is developing for SME finance.
