Malet Lambert School has been through a number of changes since its creation in 1932. Before becoming a community comprehensive, it was set up as a higher grade school, with provision for those above statutory school leaving age, then became a grammar school in 1944.
Working with the Building Schools for the Future programme, much of Malet Lambert School has been demolished in the past year to be replaced by state of the art buildings and facilities, which Hull Esteem predicts will be finished by the end of 2012.
