Will Alternative Funding Deliver?

On December 12th 2013 the AFN published the Crowdfunding Investment Report the research identifies key trends within the nascent industry and provides a snap-shot of the current state of play.
In February (2014) the AFN published its second CIR report on Attitudes and Perceptions. This allows for a better understanding of SME attitudes and perceptions towards a range of non-bank, “alternative” funding forms, including crowd funding, peer to peer lending and platform based invoice discounting.
Earlier this month (April) the AFN published its third CIR report on Investor Preference, this report allows for a better understanding of investor preferences and identifies the type and quality of the information that online investors expect prior to making an investment decision.
On Wednesday May 21st the Alternative Funding Network will hold our biggest and arguably most important event yet, WIll Alternative Funding Deliver?
This will be a morning of discussion and debate focused on the different themes included in the report – and we will be case studying, through live interview, two businesses that have had recent success in raising new funds through equity crowd funding and P2P lending. It’s a chance for all stakeholders in this market to come together and consider how this market will take shape in the future.
