Case Study: Selling Brompton bikes in China
Knowledge Peers recently had the chance to speak to Will Butler-Adams, Managing Director of Brompton Bicycle. We were lucky enough to be shown around the factory where all of these distinctive bikes are manufactured, and even got to ride around the car park on a 10 year old prototype version!
Will then spoke to us about Brompton's decision to adopt a retail model in China, to protect the brand in a country that Will fears would otherwise "trash" their brand.
