"Technology cluster" of three Knowledge Centres now live
1 Aug 2008
Knowledge Peers has launched a cluster of technology-focused Knowledge Centres, offering three complementary approaches to the challenge of exploiting technology effectively.
The Technology Companies and Media Knowledge Centres take a sector-based approach, focusing on issues for growth companies operating within the UK's vibrant technology and media sectors, whilst the IT for Business Knowledge Centre is aimed at business users of IT.
Knowledge Peers has recruited an impressive panel of experts to support its "technology cluster", who will be sharing their insights and advice over the months to come. They currently include Symbian co-founder David Wood, technology and media investor Barney Battles, IT industry observer Richard Holway, and business software analyst Dennis Keeling.
Knowledge Peers has also recruited a permanent team of three Knowledge Centre Directors to run its technology research programmes:
Matthew Honey (Media),
a former Executive Director at AIM-listed UBC Media Group plc and Managing Director of Unique Interactive, a software business specialising in the Media industry.
Eric Woods (IT for business),
formerly Government Practice Director at analyst firm Ovum, is an independent consultant with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry.
Jessica Figueras (Technology companies),
who also joins Knowledge Peers as a full-time Director, is a former practice leader at analyst firm Ovum and an experienced advisor on market and industry issues to technology companies.
Knowledge Peers is a membership organisation for people who run growth businesses in the UK. We enable our members to tackle pressing business challenges by learning directly from the experiences of their peers. Our comprehensive research programme offers concise, practical guidance via video interviews and interactions with experienced executives and specialist advisors.
